Part of FTSE-listed ITV plc, ITV Studios operates more than 60 production labels across 13 markets and produces nearly 7,000 hours of content annually. Since joining the business in 2024, Sonia has steered the continued financial growth of Studios, which stands at over £2 billion in revenue.
Sonia qualified at KPMG, one of the Big Four global professional services firms, delivering high-impact financial, audit, and strategic advisory services to multinational clients.
Prior to ITV Studios, Sonia was the Finance Director for ITV Media and Entertainment. M&E is the group’s primary broadcasting and streaming division, which houses its flagship linear channels and ITVX, the UK’s largest free commercial streaming service and the commercial division, responsible for generating all advertising income across the ITV family of channels and platforms.
Before joining ITV, Sonia spent several years at the BBC, where she held a number senior executive roles across the public service and commercial division, including Finance Director for BBC Studios Production alongside numerous finance director and operational roles.
Sonia spent 3 years at WhatIf, an innovation and growth consultancy, which partnered with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients to design future business models, optimise operational structures, and drive commercial transformation.
