ITV Studios America has named Bruce Robertson senior VP of creative strategy, based in Los Angeles.

Robertson will pursue new content, brand and creative strategies for ITV Studios America in the U.S. marketplace. He will also act as a liaison with creative directors in the U.K. and the offices of ITV Studios Intl.

Robertson will report to ITV Studios America CEO Paul Buccieri.

"Bruce will be an extraordinarily valuable new member to our team in the U.S.," said Buccieri. "His knowledge of the company, and success with numerous initiatives makes him an ideal addition to our strong staff here as we continue to grow our business."

Robertson had previously served in London as ITV Studios U.K. and Intl. human resources director. Among the strategic initiatives he engineered as part of ITV Studios' senior team was the design and implementation of ITV's former creative innovation unit, ITV Imagine.

His duties expanded in recent years to include new content opportunities across platforms. He joined the company in 2004.

"ITV's U.S. operations are growing rapidly," Robertson said, "and I will be supporting the growth of this already successful business while ensuring we share our ideas, strategies and success with our international ITV colleagues."

ITV Studios America has produced such programs as "Hell's Kitchen," "Kitchen Nightmares" and "Steven Seagal: Lawman."
