LOS ANGELES, CA., January 20, 2012 – Paul Buccieri, ITV Studios International Managing Director and President & CEO, ITV Studios America, Michael Kassan, MediaLink Founder and Eileen O’Neill, Group President, Discovery and TLC Networks have joined the Board of Directors of The Hollywood Radio and Television Society’s (HRTS) it was announced today by HRTS President Sean Perry. All three have been appointed for the 2012 – 2014 term.
“Paul, Michael and Eileen bring interesting and diverse backgrounds to HRTS and we are delighted they are joining our Board of Directors,” Perry said.
HRTS Executive Director Dave Ferrara added, “as HRTS continues to grow, it is important to have strong leadership on the board.”
Buccieri was promoted to Managing Director of ITV Studios International in July 2011, expanding his responsibilities as President and CEO of ITV Studios, where he develops and oversees the business’ international strategy with responsibility for leading growth through international production and exploitation of ITV Studios’ brands. He also oversees all international production companies and ITV Studios Global Entertainment, ITV’s distribution and consumer products business.
Kassan is the founder of MediaLink LLC, a leading Los Angeles- and New York City-based advisory and business development firm that provides critical counsel and direction on issues of marketing, advertising, media, entertainment and digital technology. Previously, Kassan was the President/COO and Vice-Chairman of Initiative Media Worldwide. In 1997, he was named one of the top media executives in America by Advertising Age Magazine.
O’Neill oversees the strategic direction at Discovery Channel and TLC, including development, programming, production, digital media, marketing, research and communications. Since joining TLC in 2008, O’Neill has nurtured the development of a bi-coastal team dedicated to creating authentic non-scripted programming. Most recently O’Neill oversaw the groundbreaking series ALL-AMERICAN MUSLIM. In addition, under her leadership the network also saw the launches of: EXTREME COUPONING, NY INK, FOUR WEDDINGS, LONG ISLAND MEDIUM, and SISTER WIVES.
