The series commences with a series of nationwide auditions, as we scoure the country for the tastiest home-grown recipes. The cooks whose dishes are deemed to have the most potential are invited to the studio to take part in a series of “cook-offs”during which the the show’s panel of expert judges – Michelin-starred chef John Burton Race, wine expert Jilly Goolden and award-winning restaurateur Ed Baines. With 6 series and 2 celebrity series Britain's Best Dish puts the country’s keenest amateur cooks to the test.
