New Joint Venture Scripted Production Company

ITV STUDIOS and BAFTA award-winning commissioners Camilla Campbell and Robert Wulff-Cochrane today announced they are to establish a new joint venture scripted production company. Noho Film and TV will begin development on a number of projects in the first half of 2012 and will initially focus on scripted drama skewed towards a young adult audience.

The 50/50 joint venture will see Camilla and Robert take the position of Creative Director with Board representation from ITV Studios.

Camilla and Robert have run the Channel 4 drama department for the last two years and between them have garnered 15 BAFTAs. They have commissioned, among others, Misfits, Cast Offs, Fresh Meat, Any Human Heart, Beaver Falls, Skins, The Promise, Sirens, Random, This is England 86 and 88 and Top Boy.  Camilla and Robert both worked in the independent sector for eight years before joining Channel 4.

Camilla and Robert commented:  “We are incredibly excited about setting up our own production company and delighted that ITV Studios is backing us in this way. We've had a fantastic time at Channel 4 and leave behind many great friends and colleagues. We’ve also been lucky to work with an extraordinary array of creative talent and hope that through Noho Film and TV we can continue working with the best writers and directors across theatre, film and television to make outstanding shows.”
